Material Handler - Level 2 (M-F 6:00 AM- 2:30 PM) (Finance)



In this role, you will impact the overall efficiency of our supply chain operations by ensuring that materials are handled safely and efficiently, contributing to timely production and delivery of products.

You will report directly to our Warehouse Supervisor and you'll work out of our Torrance, CA location onsite location.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive and inspect incoming materials, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Store materials in designated locations and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Prepare and distribute materials to production lines as needed, ensuring timely availability.

PAY EQUITY

The annual base salary range for this position is $37,000 ($17.78/Hr.) Min. to $ 55,600 ($26.37/Hr.) Max. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

  • At least two (2) years of experience in material handling or warehouse operations.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and procedures.
  • Experience with operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical tasks as required.

  • Handle and maintain flow of materials and products in manufacturing areas according to established guidelines
  • Perform physical movement of materials from one area to another using handcarts or forklifts
  • Utilize SAP system to maintain accurate inventory records
  • Ensure proper storage of materials in designated locations
  • Assist in cycle counts and physical inventories
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
