Senior Recruiter (Finance)



POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Recruiter will own the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for positions across our North Americas operations. This role partners closely with hiring managers, HR business partners, and functional leaders to attract, engage, and hire top talent aligned with Perma-Pipe's growth strategy, operational excellence, and people-first culture. The ideal candidate will bring strong recruiting capabilities, professional maturity, and the ability to manage requisitions across manufacturing, engineering, sales, and corporate functions.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Talent Acquisition & Delivery
    • Manage full-cycle recruitment for exempt and non-exempt roles across the Americas, including requisition intake, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation;
    • Partner with leaders to understand workforce needs and advise on best practices for sourcing, pipelines, and candidate experience;
    • Support strategic recruitment priorities including diversity hiring, hard-to-fill roles, and passive candidate engagement;
  • Stakeholder Partnership
    • Serve as a consultative partner to regional and functional leadership, supporting forecasted growth in manufacturing, operations, engineering, and corporate roles;
    • Facilitate structured interview processes and coaching of hiring managers to ensure equity, consistency, and effectiveness;
    • Ensure alignment with succession planning, internal mobility, and promotion frameworks;
  • Technology, Process & Compliance
    • Maintain and manage requisitions in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS); leverage HRIS and data dashboards to monitor pipeline performance;
    • Ensure all recruitment activities are compliant with company policy, federal, state, and local regulations;
    • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts for recruitment workflow, tools, and documentation (SOPs)'
  • Employer Branding & Engagement
    • Represent Perma-Pipe at career fairs, college events, and community initiatives across the Americas;
    • Promote our employer value proposition (EVP) and culture of inclusion and innovation through creative outreach;
    • Maintain active engagement with professional networks and industry communities to enhance talent pipelines;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS/REPORTING: Reports directly to the Senior Manager, Talent and Organizational Development and works across global HR teams.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field; advanced degree or professional certifications preferred.

EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, preferably in global manufacturing, industrial, or similar organizations.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing recruitment strategies.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), and HRIS systems (Paycom).

QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENT:

  • Highly proficient in excel and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with U.S. and Canadian employment law, experience supporting union environments is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Bilingual English / Spanish, or English / French preferred, but not required.

TRAVEL: Up to 25%, within the North Americas region.

EQUIPMENT TO BE USED: Must be able to operate computer and other office machines and office equipment as the job requires.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires sitting, bending, and reaching. May require lifting up to 15 pounds. Requires manual agility sufficient to operate standard office machines such as computers and other office equipment as the position requires. Requires normal range of hearing and vision.

MENTAL DEMANDS: Must be able to navigate diverse work problems on a daily basis. Must be able to resolve problems, manage conflict and make effective decisions under pressure. Must relate and interact with people at all levels in the Company.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Works in a typical office setting. This position may require working outside of standard business hours.
