Job Title: Facilitates Receptionist

Reports to: Office & Facilities Manager

Location: Goleta, CA (In-Office)

The Role

The Facilities Receptionist is the first point of contact for all visitors and employees, serving as the face of the corporate office and playing a vital role in shaping the company culture. This position requires a highly professional, friendly, and organized individual who can balance administrative responsibilities with a focus on employee and visitor experience. In addition, the Receptionist will play an important role in ensuring workplace safety by supporting and executing company safety procedures and protocols in conjunction with the Safety and Loss Prevention teams.

Your Impact

  • Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and employees, ensuring a positive first impression of the company.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Manage conference room scheduling, office supply inventory, mail, and deliveries.
  • Provide administrative support to corporate staff and leadership as needed.
  • Execute and maintain front desk security procedures, including visitor sign-ins and badge distribution.
  • Serve as a point of contact for safety and emergency procedures (e.g., fire drills, evacuations, lockdowns).
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety policies and coordinate with facilities or HR on incident reporting.
  • Monitor visitor and employee adherence to company safety guidelines.
  • Act as a culture ambassador by fostering a welcoming, inclusive, and professional office environment.
  • Coordinate office events, celebrations, and employee recognition activities.
  • Support onboarding of new employees, ensuring they feel welcomed and connected to company culture.
  • Promote a positive atmosphere through daily interactions and proactive communication.
  • Help drive continuous improvement and assist in areas requested by the greater facilities team and/or other functions.

Who You Are

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 0-2+ years previous experience in a reception, administrative support, customer service, and/or facilities coordinator role preferred.
  • 0-2+ years' experience working effectively in complex global organizations, satisfying the needs of diverse constituents, and often working under the pressure of competing and sometimes conflicting priorities.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in an environment with diverse constituents.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure, particularly during safety-related events.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Highly motivated team player and self-starter.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general office technology.
  • A positive, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset.

$23 - $25

The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
