Sr Finance Manager (Finance)

You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of finance, working capital, and project installation/service. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and achieve business objectives.

This team member will be a hands-on leader and contributor to the NAM SME Solutions Business to create increased visibility into operational strategy and performance with the goal of driving speed, quality, and margin improvement. You will play a part in supporting the development of the Strategic Plan, Annual Operating Plan, Short Range Outlook and Project Estimate processes. You will also develop integrated revenue and expense analyses, projections for the bid reviews, lead analysis contract reviews with the controllership team, partner with the operations director on the ongoing projects.

As a senior leader, you will also prepare financial reports and presentations for senior leadership, contributing to informed decision-making. You will report directly to our SME Americas CFO and you'll work out of our Houston location on a hybrid work schedule.As a Senior Finance Manager (Commercial) at Honeywell, you will provide strategic financial support overseeing sales, finance, working capital, and project services while leading a team to drive financial performance, analyze data for business growth, ensure compliance, and prepare reports for senior leadership, all while fostering a diverse and inclusive team culture.YOU MUST HAVE
• Four-year accounting/finance degree required
• Experience in Projects / Solutions Finance
• 10+ years of experience working in accounting/finance positions, with financial analysis experience at a manager or above level for at least 3 years.
• Experience with Hyperion and SAP

• Lead the weekly Short Range Outlook reporting process, including business analytics and presentation of results.
• Provide accurate and timely analytics, reports, and insightful observations to managers and executives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Partner with the Operations Snr Director on daily basis regarding project forecasts, initiatives and actions.
• Conduct deep dive on project costs, financial adjustment risks and mitigation actions.
• Support the Annual Operating Plan, STRAP and Forecasting processes.
• Drive project contract discussions with the controllers.
• Support project bids and cash flow projections.
• Identify and help implement cost efficiency and productivity initiatives.
• Identify and review risks and opportunities that surface and ensure action owners are identified and follow up plans are proactively communicated.
• Continue to take a leadership position in deploying Finance capability improvements in reporting, analytics and forward forecasting capabilities.
• Communicate effectively with management concerning financial objectives and key business metrics.About Us
