Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (Healthcare)
Verify patient information, ensuring precision in the therapy process.
Collaborate with patients, caregivers, and families, discussing and executing treatment plans.
Efficiently complete clinical and billing documentation, ensuring timely submission.
Implement the prescribed Occupational Therapy program, restoring and maintaining patient functionality using a variety of techniques.
Collaborate with supervising Occupational Therapist when evaluation data exceeds COTA expertise.
Establish and pursue short and long-term goals tailored to individual patient needs, adapting treatment techniques as necessary.
Maintain a safe, compliant, and healthy therapy environment, adhering to organization standards and regulations.
Enhance job knowledge through training and publications, staying at the forefront of occupational therapy.
Embrace new challenges and assist fellow team members, contributing to the organization's overall success.
Uphold privacy policies and federal regulations, ensuring patient confidentiality.

Qualifications
Graduate of a recognized COTA program with a valid state license. (required)
Tech-savvy, proficient in computers and handheld devices.
Possess a valid driver's license and the flexibility to travel.
Exceptional skills in observation, communication, problem-solving, and basic math.
Strong focus on customer service, excelling in interpersonal relationships.
Attentive listener, empathetic communicator, and effective information sharer.
Proficient in teaching and assisting others.
Adept at using computers and Microsoft Office tools.
Preferred experience in acute care, long-term care, or rehabilitation settings.
