The Consumer Loan Processor is responsible for providing support to the lending staff through multiple functions associated with pre-closing and post-closing due diligence activities. In this role, you will work closely with the RM's, underwriting, operational groups, and title companies to obtain information, forms and documents needed to process approved loan applications, while examining these documents to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards and closing deadlines.

What You'll Do

  • Perform a broad variety of loan service functions from loan application through loan closing for consumer loans

  • Manage and coordinate documentation requests, order due diligence, and coordinate with cross-functional partners including Loan Operations, Lenders, Clients, and Title Companies for loan closings

  • Ensure all documents/financial/due diligence items are uploaded into ImageCentre (aka FCM); maintain current loan files and records

  • Provide Lender and client support as it relates to information maintained on the loan system, such as rates, payments, billings, and account history

  • Internal communication across departments, assist with obtaining servicing information, and with loan related projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years' consumer loan servicing preferred

  • Exceptional customer service skills

  • Knowledge and understanding of various loan documents, banking processing standards, best practices, and audit control procedures

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • High level of organization and time-management with keen attention to detail and the ability to respond quickly to changes in priorities and tasks

  • Proficient in MS Office including Excel and Word

  • Familiarity with FIS preferred, but not required

Compensation

The estimated hourly rate for this role is $20.19 - $26.44, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual pay rate may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience.
