Sales Specialist (Real Estate)



Westminster Communities of Florida, a nationally recognized not-for-profit faith based organization, is searching for a highly qualified Sales Specialist. This role generates high-volume recurring streams of new move-in revenue for assigned Westminster Communities. The Sales Specialist prioritizes the outperformance of budgeted sales goals and community revenue targets by efficiently performing all processes and tasks required to close sales, including the development and execution of marketing plans to achieve community occupancy goals.  This candidate represents the ideal Westminster sales professional and promotes a mission-driven sales culture. This position will travel to communities within a designated region and assignments will vary in length and may change with little notice.

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Works with Executive Director and Community sales teams on daily sales activities onsite to achieve desired move-in results.
  2. Drives rapid occupancy growth and prioritizes rate integrity where assigned by conducting high-quality daily phone and in-person sales calls that convert to move-ins.
  3. Attends daily stand-up meetings, community events and communicates current product information to appropriate community
  4. Partners with Regional Sales Director to develop and execute business plans to achieve community revenue and occupancy goals.
  5. Maintains a working knowledge of and manages all relevant sales-specific software programs and Customer Relationship Management systems needed to generate high move-in volume, including thorough and accurate data entry, periodic database cleanup, and community coaching
  6. Motivates community sales teams to meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales performance expectations in partnership with community operations and clinical leaders, Regional Sales, and Vice president Sales
  7. Maintains current working knowledge of relevant competition in markets where
  8. Provides accurate and timely move-in forecasts weekly and as
  9. Communicates incoming resident's needs and preferences to the Executive Director and/or appropriate community associate(s) to enhance customer satisfaction upon move-in.

  11. Collaborates on the creation of quarterly Marketing Action Plans for all communities and all levels of care working with the community sales directors/ Regional sales The Marketing Action Plans should be in alignment with the overall strategic marketing plan in coordination with the Director of Marketing.
  12. Coordinate and communicate the marketing and lead generation efforts, needed to support sales and occupancy goals at the communities, with the Director of Marketing and the Community Support Services Creative Team.
  13. Facilitate review and approval of all community marketing collateral and tactics in a timely manner ensuring quality consistent with the Westminster brand.
  14. Conduct regular training and coaching opportunities for sales team members including routine mystery shopping and evaluation of sales effectiveness.
  15. Actively support communities with sales activities and management as needed.
  16. Work requires willingness to for extensive travel (100 %), and work a flexible schedule

Essential Qualifications: 

Education and/or Experience:

  • B.A./B.S. Degree in a business related major; 3-5 years of sales management experience required
  • Experience in a CCRC setting preferred; regional experience preferred
  • Possess the mastery of verbal and written communication skills
