Assembler (Finance)



As an Assembler at MacLean-Fogg, you will play a key role in producing high-quality components that power our customers' success.   • Work Location: Onsite - Whitewater, Wisconsin 53190
  • Shift: 1
Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble product parts and components according to specifications and work instructions.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and effectively.
  • Perform quality checks to confirm parts meet standards before moving to the next stage.
  • Report quality, equipment, or material issues promptly to supervision.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area with properly stored tools.
  • Follow all standard operating procedures, safety, environmental, and quality policies.
  • Support continuous improvement by suggesting and implementing operational enhancements.
  • Assist in training and mentoring team members to build skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and respectful team environment.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned to meet production needs.
Skills/Competencies
  • Strong assembly skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions and product specifications
  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and production equipment
  • Basic machine operation knowledge
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Strong problem-solving and documentation skills
  • Ability to follow written and verbal directions accurately
  • Team-oriented with mentoring and coaching abilities
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
Qualifications (Required)
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of assembly or manufacturing experience
  • Knowledge of calibration, product specifications, and production tools
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
  • Required to stand for extended periods.
  • Must be able to push/pull objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent bending and stooping required.
  • Must have the dexterity to handle small objects.
  • Must be able to work in noisy environments.
