Specialist Field Support SCO (Sales)



Job Summary

In collaboration with the dedicated onsite team, supports post-sales phases of Supply Chain Optimization (SCO) programs: installation and optimization of onsite labor programs; supply room redesign and reconfigurations; technology solutions; consulting engagements.

Key resource in support of pre & post-implementation efforts (Phase I assessments, new PV implementation, issue resolution, retention efforts, SCO projects).

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the implementation of the labor component of new and existing SCO projects.

  • Understand the aspects of the project; support staff in collaborative projects across the division; perform support activities and contribute to the implementation.

  • Ensure implementation and post-implementation phases are on track. Provide inputs to regular, periodic status reports. Inform Project Supervisor or sponsors if deadlines cannot be met.

  • Analyze and troubleshoot issues to problem solve and/or develop solutions. Work closely with affected internal customers to ensure risks are reported, tracked, managed, and resolved.

  • Point of contact for local DC operations. Implement required logistics and branch coordination for new PV deals. Help local branch setup, train, and process initial orders. Assist Local DC Operations and at times local Sales team through the Prime Vendor account go-live process.

  • Gather, analyze and create detailed analytics for ongoing programs and initiatives and communicate/present to the customer. Provide insights in identifying opportunities for creating supply chain efficiency and saving for the customer.

  • Work with appropriate area sales team and management to ensure continuity of customer relationships and profitability.

  • Work with and provide support to the SCO field team for any additional SCO programs or issues.

  • Help to identify best practices existing in the field and then cataloging those into a database for future use.

  • Implement required logistics and branch coordination for new PV deals.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.

  • At least 2 years of Supply Chain (Warehousing, Inventory, Logistics, Analytics) experience.

  • Must be comfortable working on various projects hands on for stockroom reconfigurations, moving of products, etc.

  • Time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

  • Position requires travel up to 75% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six Sigma/Lean Training.

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$79,560.00 - $115,440.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
