WHAT YOU'LL DO:
As our Payroll Professional, you will help process payroll-related functions for our companies to ensure our members are compensated timely and accurately for the work they do. Every day you will work with managers, members, and the payroll team ensuring that timecards, position changes, and all payroll items are completed. Additionally, you will perform the following functions:
- Processing multi-state payroll twice a month (collection of data, processing payroll, and remittance of payments for hourly and salaried members).
- Processing garnishments and commissions.
- Assisting with audits.
- Performing reconciliation of payroll accounts to the general ledger.
WHAT YOU NEED:
- 5 or more years of payroll experience.
- Associate's Degree (A.A.) or equivalent work experience, Certified Payroll Professional designation, and accounting background are preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
- Ability to learn/understand processes and complete them with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel and Word.
- Experience with UKG/Workforce Management preferred.
- Prevailing wage-certified payroll processing is a plus.
Compensation: $24-30/hr (Depending on Experience)
