Maintenance Director (Maintenance)



About the Position
We seek a dedicated and experienced Director of Environmental Services to lead and manage the daily operations of our Maintenance, Housekeeping and Laundry departments at our Hospice Residence. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality facility services while maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations and standards. Responsibilities:

Supervise and direct the Maintenance, Housekeeping and Laundry departments, ensuring smooth & efficient operations. Maintain supplies and equipment for these departments.

Provide regular work schedules for Maintenance, Housekeeping and Laundry staff.

Provide and regularly update Fire and Life Safety policies that provide crucial information in the event of an emergency. Attend regular Safety and Emergency Preparedness meetings. Maintain the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) program.

Periodically review and maintain all service contracts with outside agencies.

Willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed and be on call during non-working hours for any emergency situation that may arise.
