As a Logistics Lead here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the end-to-end logistics operations. In this role, you will impact the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our logistics operations, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment, optimizing transportation routes, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and logistics partners. Your efforts will directly contribute to cost savings, improved customer satisfaction, and the overall success of Honeywell's supply chain.As a Logistics Lead here at Honeywell, you will optimize end-to-end logistics operations, coordinate transportation, warehousing, and inventory management, and develop strategies to enhance cost, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. You will report directly to our Logistics Manager and you'll work out of our Muncie, IN LocationYOU MUST HAVE

  • 5+ years of experience in logistics management, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Strong knowledge of transportation, warehousing, and inventory management principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in using logistics management software and tools.
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and execute logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to resolve any logisticsrelated issues or challenges
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and other logistics data
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices
