Lecturer - Industry Perspectives in Energy and Sustainability (Finance)

Description:

The Honors College at the University of Houston invites applications for part-time Lecturer positions to teach one in-person section of "Industry Perspectives in Energy and Sustainability." Adjunct appointments are made on a semester basis, but the need for this temporary, part-time position will continue in future semesters.

Qualifications
Successful candidates will hold at least a master's degree in a related field and have at least a decade of experience in the energy or sustainability industry, with the ability to draw upon that experience in the classroom and by bringing in other industry experts as guest speakers.

Official transcripts are required for a faculty appointment and will be requested upon selection of the final candidates.

All positions at the University of Houston-System are security sensitive and will require a criminal history check. Individuals conducting research in critical infrastructure areas (i.e., communication infrastructure systems, cybersecurity systems, electric grid, hazardous waste treatment systems, and/or water treatment facilities) are subject to regular review to ensure the security and integrity of the research is maintained.
