Learning Impact Partner (Finance)



Drives team member growth and organizational capability by designing, delivering, and evaluating impactful learning experiences. Supports ongoing development through strategic program management, data-driven insights, and personalized learning solutions that ensure knowledge and skills are applied on the job and aligned with business goals.

Essential Position Responsibilities - This is a salary exempt position.

Provides pre- and post-learning support using strategies such as coaching, mentoring, and access to relevant tools or resources. Reinforces skill application in the workplace through continuous support and guided reflection.

Builds strong relationships with leadership program participants and follows up with them as their career progresses to help ensure retention by understanding ongoing learning needs, providing resources and support where appropriate.

Utilizes evaluation models such as the Kirkpatrick Model to assess learning effectiveness across reaction, learning, behavior, and results. Collects and interprets data (e.g., surveys, assessments, performance metrics) to identify trends, measure impact, and inform future program improvements.

Communicates learning impact using data-driven visuals and summaries tailored for team members, leaders, and external audiences. Translates data into clear, compelling stories that highlight program outcomes, celebrate progress, and reinforce the value of learning across the organization. Creates reports, dashboards, or presentations to support transparency, engagement, and strategic decision-making.

Manages and executes key development programs, including the M.H. Bill Simmons Scholarship Program, Salaried Team Member Orientation, and Simmons Supervisor Certification. Oversees planning, logistics, communication, evaluation and follow up.

Leverages technology including LMS platforms, e-learning tools, and data systems-to track participation, personalize learning (adaptive learning), and evaluate outcomes.

Co-designs learning experiences with an emphasis on workplace application, incorporating strategies such as real-world practice, reinforcement, and reflection to increase impact and retention.

Partners with functions across the business to develop and deliver integrated learning solutions that support team member development throughout the team member lifecycle.

Leverages technology-including LMS platforms, e-learning tools, and data systems-to track participation, personalize learning (adaptive learning), and evaluate outcomes.

Participates as a member of the Team. Supports cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement aligned with Simmons' culture and operating systems. Contributes to planning, implementation, and problem-solving activities.

Simmons Operating Systems principles and objectives: Understands Simmons' systems and policies (e.g., LEAN, quality, safety, compliance). Recognizes how learning initiatives contribute to process and performance improvement, and shares opportunities for enhancement.

Physical Activities: Uses computer and communication tools. Presents and shares information in individual or group settings. Travels to various worksites or events. Moves about manufacturing and office environments as needed.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): As required when visiting facilities.

Travel: Domestic travel with potential overnight stays to support programs and initiatives.

Technical Experience: 1-3 years in learning and development or a related HR role. Experience with LMS platforms, e-learning tools, and learning data analysis required. Strong skills in data interpretation and communication. Familiarity with instructional design, coaching, and evaluation models (e.g., Kirkpatrick) preferred.

Industry Experience: N/A

Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or related field or 4 years equivalent experience.

Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree with certifications in learning, coaching, or instructional design. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
