Job Title: Logistics Associate
Reports to: Manufacturing Manager
Schedule: M-T 6:00am 4:30pm, overtime allocated based on business demand
Summary:
As aLogistics Associate, you will support manufacturing operations through material handling, receiving, packaging, and shipping. This role is essential to maintaining efficient warehouse and inventory processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties may include the following. Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary to support quality goals and objectives.
Conduct receiving activities, including incoming material inspection and documentation.Conduct shipping activities, including outgoing material inspection and documentation. Conduct product packaging activities.Use hand and power tools to build pallets and crates. Operate material handling equipment, such as jib cranes, bridge cranes, and PIVs. Perform and support warehouse and inventory management processes. Record data manually and/or in the ERP system.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing goals.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives in the manufacturing process.Maintain and participate in general housekeeping activities as well as the implementation and maintenance of Lean Six Sigma practices.Adhere to all company and regulatory safety policies.Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Ability to safely and successfully perform any/all essential job functions.Ability to meet and maintain all qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.Ability to maintain reasonably regular and punctual attendance.High school diploma or equivalent education. Minimum 2 years sit-down forklift operation experience. Prior experience with material handling equipment, such as jib cranes.Prior experience working to improve inventory, warehouse, and shipment management.Proficient computer skills. Experience in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.Previous experience working in a manufacturing ERP system to perform various activities related to material, warehouse, and shipping processes. Microsoft D365 experience preferred. Compliance with all personnel policies and practices.
