Software Engineering Senior Advisors- Hybrid (Finance)



The job profile for this position is Software Engineering Senior Advisor, which is a Band 4 Contributor Career Track Role with Cigna -Evernorth Services Inc.

Responsibilities-

• Provide technology leadership and delivery accountability for solutions for multiple concurrent projects or programs for an application family (i.e. Claims, C&PS, or CS&DW);

• Communicate with key stakeholders to determine project requirements and objectives;

• Partner with multiple vendors to ensure quality of technology delivery of technology solutions;

• Develop and update project plans;

• Identify project needs including staffing and budget;

• Create estimates and delivery plans for projects or programs across an application family;

• Implement actions to increase company and vendor partner knowledge on team;

• Provide technical guidance to projects/programs for complex components of multiple technology suites;

• Set direction to mature the technology associated with the team, a key aspect of this being "tech debt" removal when possible;

• Identify and implement process enhancement opportunities associated with supporting the application area;

• Lead efforts to develop standard practices, components, guidelines for use of complex technology components;

• Create detailed specifications or designs, conduct quality assurance reviews of peer's application programming to ensure the software application quality, and act as a resource for team members with less experience;

• Code, test, debug, document, and maintain software application programs as necessary;

• Resolve urgent and high production incidents; and

• Lead actions to determine root cause of problems and drive resolution.

• Hybrid Work Schedule.

• The base annual salary for this position is $155,542 with standard company benefits.

Qualifications-

• Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in computers, engineering, or a related field and 5 years of experience as a Software Developer, Consultant, or in a related occupation.

• Requires a PEGA Senior Systems Architect Certification.

• Experience analyzing functional and nonfunctional requirements;

• Experience coding and implementing use cases/stories;

• Experience preparing and recommending workflow designs, design class structures, and performance monitoring;

• Experience implementing PEGA PRPC components (i.e. Activities, Decision Rules, and Declarative Rules);

• Experience creating and modifying User Interface Rules (Harness, Section Rules);

• Experience testing and debugging using Tracer and LiveUI; and

• Experience using: Java, JavaScript, JQuery, Oracle, and SQL Server.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 127,400 - 212,300 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
