Retail Sales Associate (Sales)
Good Chemistry grows, breeds and sells premium, small-batch cannabis. The company was founded over 22 years ago in San Francisco as a medical cannabis co-op and since that time, we have expanded our independently-owned operations throughout Colorado, Massachusetts and Nevada. Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour - $19.00 per hour commensurate with experience.

Job Summary: Retail Sales Associates must be enthusiastic, friendly and able to provide basic information regarding the store. They interact with patients/customers to advise them on the products for sale and must possess the ability to read patients/customers and tailor each shopping experience to meet their needs. Sales Associates are also responsible for communicating Good Chemistry's initiatives and principles.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide best patient/customer experience to whoever walks through the doorWelcome each person entering the dispensary with a warm, friendly greetingMust be on time and prepared for all scheduled shiftsBuild rapport with patients/customers to ensure they return to Good ChemistryEnter patients/customers into Virtual Gateway and Biotrack systemsAnswer phones and maintain proper phone etiquetteProperly introduce first time patients/customers to the facility and category systemAllocate of guest badges and maintain oversight on all vendor/visitor sign-in in compliance with the lawCheck ID's (both at front desk and again before purchase)Educate patients/customers on Good Chemistry's message, strains, products, delivery methods, potency, proper storage of product, serving size, and toleranceMake recommendations based on experience with productsComplete daily checklists pertaining to daily store opening and closing duties, among other tasksMaintain appearance of storeMaintain compliance and follow Good Chemistry procedures when completing a salePossess accurate knowledge of product price pointsResponsible for all money and inventory on the sales floor or in designated POS stationPackage bulk flower into containers for saleKeep workstations in an orderly mannerGuide patients/customers to appropriate resources including website and internet menusCommunicate needs to Floor Captain, ASM, or SM when necessaryRepresent Good Chemistry as an ambassador to the brandOther responsibilities as delegated by ASM or SM
Job Requirements (Education and Experience):
Must be able to pass CORI background checkThis job involves cannabis and requires that you be at least 21 years oldExperience with POS systemsCustomer service or sales experience requiredSuccess working closely with a myriad of different personality types

Must possess basic knowledge of cannabis weights, industry products, strain classifications, genetics, and complianceGenuine enthusiasm and love for cannabis and the cannabis industryPositive attitude in high volume retail sales settingsProven cash handling skills and ability to maintain large amounts inventoryAbility to work long hours on your feetProficiency with Microsoft Suite and Apple OSMust be able to speak with strangers and have an outgoing personalityAttention to detail
