This position is based in our Irvine, California Corporate Headquarters with the opportunity to work up to two days remote per week.

Are you passionate about using strategic communication to drive business transformation and cultural change? We are seeing a dynamic and experience communication lead to develop and execute internal financial communication programs that inform, engage and inspire employees. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping and delivering clear, compelling messaging that builds understanding of financial initiatives, fosters transparency and strengthens employee alignment with organizational goals.

Effective communication is the cornerstone of successful change management, especially in a global financial transformation. The communications lead will ensure that employees are well-informed, engaged, and aligned with the transformation goals. Through strategic messaging, storytelling, and transparent updates, this role will help build trust, reduce resistance, and foster a culture of collaboration and adaptability.

Position Summary:

Responsible for the planning and implementation of all corporate internal communications programs and news/information channels targeting worldwide employees. Ensures effective organizational communications strategies and tactics to lead cultural and/or business change and build employee awareness and commitment. Develops and administers communication policies and procedures consistent with company strategic direction. Utilizes knowledge of latest communications technologies and tools to execute communications strategies to multiple audiences and cultures through electronic, print and face to face approaches. Serves as a strategic partner to Human Resources, providing communications counsel and support.

Provides solutions to a variety of complex technical and business matters. Will champion significant projects, programs and business initiatives using demonstrated creativity and ingenuity. May assist more junior staff members with aspects of their job.

Independence:
Incumbents provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in his/her area of specialization. Generally free to determine work priorities based on general direction from managers.

Minimum Skills/Experience:
Specialist in technical or business skills. Individuals with a customer focus have developed the acumen to cultivate and develop lasting customer relations. Four-year college degree (or additional relevant experience in a related field). Minimum 5 years functional experience including a minimum of 3 years specific experience. Ability to make significant contribution to processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities

Plan & Manage Change Communications Strategy:

  • Execute communication strategies that support the successful adoption of Finance projects (including Finance as a Service Transformation: FaaST) and change initiatives across functions, regions, departments, and business units.
  • Collaborate with project teams, change managers, and business leaders to align communication goals with project objectives.
  • Anticipate communication needs early to proactively manage employee sentiment, minimize resistance, and encourage engagement.

Create and Deliver Targeted Communications:

  • Craft compelling communication materials-including emails, newsletters, intranet content, videos, FAQs, executive talking points, and presentation decks-tailored to stakeholder needs and change readiness.
  • Ensure all content reflects the organization's tone, values, and strategic messaging while clearly explaining the "why," "what," and "how" of upcoming changes.
  • Partner with leadership and HR to cascade messages through the right channels and people at the right time.
  • Adapt messaging to specific roles, locations, and business lines to maximize relevance and clarity.
  • Follow approval flows for communications to ensure timely execution of communications

Support Stakeholder Engagement and Readiness:

  • Engage regularly with stakeholders to understand concerns, gather feedback, and identify gaps in understanding or engagement.
  • Use feedback loops, pulse surveys, and town halls to adjust communications and support a two-way dialogue.
  • Build trust and transparency through consistent, empathetic messaging that acknowledges challenges while emphasizing benefits and support.

Integrate Communications with Broader Change Management Activities:

  • Collaborate with change impact leads to align communication activities with assessed change impacts, ensuring targeted messages support affected users.
  • Work closely with training teams to integrate communications with enablement resources and reinforce key learning objectives.
  • Contribute to the development and success of change networks or champions by equipping them with communications toolkits, messaging guides, and regular updates.
  • Serve as the communications lead on project teams, representing the voice of impacted employees throughout the change lifecycle.

Monitor Effectiveness and Refine Messaging:

  • Track engagement with communication materials and channels using data, feedback, and defined KPIs.
  • Analyze outcomes to assess message clarity, stakeholder understanding, and readiness for change.
  • Regularly report findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders to optimize strategy and improve outcomes.
  • Adjust communication plans as needed based on business needs, readiness assessments, and change impact analysis.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $81,800.00 - $130,900.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate's primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
