IT Support Specialist (Information Technology)



*Seeking an IT Support Specialist*


Job Summary:
Provide basic to intermediate level help desk support to users on all IS/IT related issues. Set up and maintain user profiles. Track and maintain hardware. Troubleshoot and assist with connectivity and network issues. Track and distribute mobile devices. Assist with departmental projects.

Job Duties:
· HELPDESK: Provide timely and effective hands-on technical support to users of desktop, phone, network, and cloud-based services. Consult with and train end users to ensure hardware, software, and system functionality needs are met. Create a positive user experience and build strong relationships internally and externally. (30%)
· HARDWARE: Track, configure, install, and troubleshoot hardware such as PCs, laptops, printers, cell phones, tablets, modems, routers, firewalls, switches, battery backups, etc. to maintain optimal performance. Perform minor repairs as necessary. Ensure monthly/quarterly/annual maintenance. (30%)
· NETWORK: Basic troubleshooting of WAN/LAN/, routers, firewalls, and network security. Work with IS/IT staff in ensuring integrity, backup, and secondary backup solutions for network access. (20%)
· SOFTWARE & SERVICES: Administer user profiles, Microsoft 365, G Suite, and cloud service accounts. Install and update software as necessary. Track and maintain software and service licensure. (15%)
· PROJECTS: Participates in departmental projects and process improvement. Makes recommendations regarding hardware and software procurement and system settings. Document and maintain standard procedures that will help drive efficiencies to maximize profit for the company. (5%)

Schedule: Monday Through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM
Pay: $23/Hourly

Requirements:
· High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of IT support experience is required.
· Must be a resourceful self-starter and able to seek solutions independently.
· Industry certifications such as MCP, A+, and Network+ are desired, but a combination of education and experience will be considered.
· Experience administering Microsoft 365, G Suite, Windows Operating Systems, Android phones and tablets and other industry related software is preferred.
