Business Analytics Analyst Sr - WFM (Finance)



Job Overview:

This role involves integrating complex and disparate supply chain data to drive optimization/efficiency and generate reports, models, and data driven recommendations to enable robust business decision making. Other aspects of this role involve performance monitoring, driving multiple key initiatives and developing mechanisms to manage continuous improvement at scale. Key attributes for success in this role include a strong attention to detail, a passion for manipulating data to drive robust decisions. Job Responsibilities:

Core Responsibilities

  • Create, modify, maintain and schedule dashboards and workflows using various report writing tools
  • Identify areas of potential business risk and communicate to appropriate leaders
  • Make recommendations for necessary changes on varying projects and processes
  • Analyze data to provide insightful and actionable insights
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to address system upgrades, issues, and project related tasks as assigned.
  • Ability to perform complex root cause analysis to resolve potential workflow and database issues
  • Engages with business stakeholders and end users to understand how data-driven changes to process, products, and services can improve efficiencies and add value
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Education/ Certifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience gathering, analyzing, and manipulating business process data within a national and/or global supply chain, logistics, quality, and/or finance environment
  • BA/BS degree, Master's degree preferred
  • Highly detail oriented with above average project management skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, data management, and time management skill set
  • Requires excellent interpersonal communication (both written & verbal), presentation, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • Requires proficiency with Alteryx workflow development and ability to efficiently create/maintain databases
  • Requires strong proficiency with MS office (Excel/PowerQuery, SharePoint, Teams)
  • Amazon S3, Quicksights and/or Tableau experience a plus
  • Ability to perform SQL queries and modeling, or sufficient programming experience to demonstrate the ability to quickly learn SQL
  • Ability to perform and/or lead ad hoc analysis and make data driven recommendations
  • Ability to define, develop, visualize, and refine reporting/metrics that drive actionable insights

Experience:
  • 6-10 years or relevant analytics and/or reporting experience
  • 6-10 years of experience with ETLs, Database structure

Knowledge/Skills/ Abilities:
  • Advanced knowledge of assigned specific software system or application
  • Advanced knowledge in Data Analytics and the ability to create data models
  • Proficient technical writing and requirements skills
  • Organizational and Facilitation skills
  • Proficient interpersonal and consultation skills
  • Proficient critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently and break down and organize assigned work into workable tasks
  • Ability to learn new systems, concepts and procedures

  • Ability to collaborate across teams and work in a remote environment
  • Ability to work with geographically dispersed teams
  • Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.

Work Environment:

Hybrid Role:

  • This position follows a hybrid schedule working in office () days per week. The acceptable split between onsite and remote work is determined by the manager. Hybrid associates may choose to work from an office on a more frequent basis than required.

  • Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment.
  • Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at a desk or computer terminal.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
  • Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephones, and other office equipment in the course of a normal workday.
