Base pay in range will be determined by applicant's skills and experience. Role is also eligible for team based bonus opportunities. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company's 401(k) program.

Bachelor's Degree (BA or BS) in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 2+ years of finance/accounting experience (CPA or PeopleSoft skills a plus).

Brookdale is an equal opportunity employer and a drug-free workplace.Assists the Finance Department in providing financial analysis and reporting, reconciles debt and lease related balance sheet accounts, and assists in preparing annual financing costs budgets.
  • Effectively communicate with senior management, as well as external parties such as lenders, lessors and auditors.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual lender/lessor portfolio financial reporting packages, including responses to lender/lessor variance analysis questions of actual results compared to budget as well as trend analysis.
  • Review portfolio related loan and lease agreements to ensure financial reporting and various types of covenant compliance with their provisions as well as track and calculate amounts related to purchase options, renewal terms, payment escalators and prepayment penalties with discounted cash flow analysis.
  • Processes debt and lease payments and records related journal entries.
  • Prepare various ad hoc schedules/analytics required by non-financing third parties such as auditors, regulatory, investment bankers and governmental agencies.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of annual financing cost budgets and forecasts.
  • Prepare debt and lease related balance sheet account reconciliations on a quarterly and annual basis and assist in preparation of SEC supporting schedules for various debt and lease related footnotes.
  • Lead the due diligence process related to debt and lease refinancing.
  • Create various pro forma financial analysis, financial models and ad hoc reporting for Board of Directors, senior management, lender and lessors.
