FP&A - Financial Analyst (Finance)



Summary

As Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst, you will be responsible for the preparation, development, analysis, verification and communication of vital financial information and business metrics. You will coordinate and assist with the Company's financial biweekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting and forecasting processes, operating plan variance analysis, and special projects. This position will also provide financial consulting and strategic support to management including preparing financial presentations, capital expenditure analysis, industry/peer group comparisons, new business opportunities, acquisition analysis and other projects as requested. This role acts as the analytical engine of the company to provide insights and support 'optimal' business decision making.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures
• Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance
• Continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Modeling tools
• Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis
• Quarterly and Monthly Financial reports
• Implement and work with a Business Intelligence Tool and Dashboard reports
• Assist with pricing & cost savings initiatives
• Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
• Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes
• Supporting Management Team and Departments heads with in-depth analysis
• Prepare presentations to Senior Management Team
• Other additional duties as assigned

Qualifications and Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA preferred
• Thrives in a fast-paced PE environment where change and driving EBITDA growth is the acceptable norm.
• Must be able to complete work within tight timeframes to meet time sensitive deliverables
• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite including advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated
• Excellent organizational, problem solving, time management skills and communication skills.
• Accuracy in daily work and projects with ability to meet communicated schedules and deadlines.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
• Strong leadership skills and experience in multi-unit manufacturing environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Results-oriented with willingness to take responsibility and initiative.

Work Location: Beloit, WI with travel up to 10%

This position requires access or potential access to Unclassified Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information, which is Not Releasable to Foreign Nationals (NOFORN) data.
