The Rental Support Specialist supports the Rental (Wagner Rents, WECo. Rental, and Power Systems Rental), Used Equipment, Machine Sales, and Transportation business units in a manner that reflects the company's vision of working as “One Professional Team.” Support may include operating system support, training, operational reporting, compliance, project participation, project management, or any other support needed by the three supported business units or for the betterment of Wagner as a whole.

Pay Rate: $58,337.00 - $80,217.00 Annually 
Pay is dependent on education and experience.

Essential Functions:

  • Produces and maintains operational based reports for supported business units
  • Directs or participates in end-user or administrative training needs
  • Works with division managers to create, update, or modify operational reports
  • Logs, updates, or manages operating system support issues with vendors
  • Creates or maintains users for various operating systems
  • Creates, maintains, updates, or manages training materials
  • Creates, maintains, updates, or manages spreadsheets, word documents, presentations, databases, email, or other business related software
  • Ability and willingness to work with any department, location, employee, vendor, or customer as necessary
  • Public speaking to employees, vendors, and customers in person or via telephone or teleconference
  • Clear, concise, and professional using non-verbal forms of communication such as email, text, memo, etc.
  • Working knowledge or demonstrated ability to gain working knowledge of the various operating systems associated with the Rental, Used Equipment, or Transportation business units
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic non-technical operating system related issues
  • Other duties as assigned by manager

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Associate's Degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1+ years' experience in the Construction Equipment Rental business in a position relating to operations and with exposure to the areas of service, transportation, and sales
  • 1+ years administrative/clerical experience
  • 3+ years customer service experience
  • 1+ years sales experience

Physical Demands & Competencies:

  • Standing, walking, talking, sitting, use of hands & hearing
  • Data Entry, telephone, reading/writing, reasoning, organizational, communication & math skills
  • Safety & Product Knowledge
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Access
  • Basic knowledge of DBS, Dsi, and ET/SIS/SIS Web/STW
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Intermediate knowledge of Wynne and Infor

Work Environment:

  • Noise: Quiet
  • Indoors

Travel Requirements:

  • 1- 25%
  • Position requires periodic travel, usually to WECo. or Wagner Rents branches within Wagner Equipment's territory, sometimes with little notice
