Cheese Clerk (FT) (Food Services)

Were excited to be opening ourbrand-new store at Sayville Plaza, and were looking for a part-time Cheese Clerk to bring passion and personality to our Cheese Department! In this role, youll get to work hands-on with a wide selection of artisan and specialty cheesesslicing, serving, and sharing your knowledge with customers who appreciate great food. Youll help create an inviting, well-stocked cheese display while keeping everything fresh, clean, and up to our high safety standards. Responsibilities
Individual supports a positive customer experience, providing guests with a unique, enthusiastic and informational experience.Observes and supports all store rules and company policies.A Cheese Clerk packs, labels and merchandises cheese and related items according to Uncle Giuseppes policies.Maintains the entire work area in a clean and sanitary condition and follows all safety procedures.Performs all other duties and functions as assigned

Requirements
HS Diploma or equivalentA minimum of 1 year of experience working in a retail food environmentExcellent customer service skills and a passion for cheeseHighly organized and the ability to adapt quickly to changing prioritiesMust be able to speak, read and understand the English languageAn interest in cheese to help facilitate learning and growing within the department
