Senior Account Supervisor, Health Digital (Finance)

Edelman has an opportunity for a Senior Account Supervisor to join our talented and award-winning Health Digital team in DC, New York, Chicago, Atlanta or Miami. The Health Digital team is a fast-paced, hybrid team of practitioners spanning everything from digital and social strategy to execution. This role will help lead the development and execution of comprehensive digital marketing and communications strategies for healthcare and pharmaceutical clients. This includes driving patient engagement, healthcare provider communications, changing policymaker opinions and brand visibility through innovative digital channels, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and current platform best practices.

The successful candidate will be a passionate digital strategist with hands-on digital marketing and communications experience. You are part strategist, part practitioner (a "do-er"). You can provide insightful strategic recommendations to our clients based on your knowledge of what it takes to execute at the highest level in health communications.

Responsibilities

    • Lead digital strategy for pharmaceutical clients, driving HCP, policymaker and patient and engagement, disease awareness, brand awareness, and thought leadership initiatives
    • Be an expert in the latest digital platforms and best practices to translate strategies effectively within the digital ecosystem
    • Ensure all digital content complies with regulations, managing legal, regulatory and medical review processes
    • Serve as daily client contact and act as client lead when appropriate; address client issues thoughtfully and effectively
    • Build relationships with internal specialists (paid media, content, creative, planning, analytics etc.) and senior stakeholders to meet client needs
    • Partner with creative counterparts to ensure content is designed to perform and resonate with our target audiences across digital channels
    • Harness the power of data and measurement tools in evaluating digital ecosystems
    • Partner with paid media and analytics teams to measure KPIs optimize performance, and guide future digital strategies
    • Champion projects from start to finish with a results-driven mindset in pursuit of strong business results for clients
    • Participate in client(s) annual communication and marketing planning process, bringing new, ideas and fresh approaches to grow and strategically support their business
    • Monitor evolving digital healthcare trends to identify opportunities for innovation and client growth
    • Provide excellent client service support: drive conversations, meet deadlines, troubleshoot challenges
    • Identify potential client growth opportunities within the digital space and empower the team to execute on those growth opportunities
    • Supervise staff by mentoring, motivating, coaching, consistently providing feedback, holding them accountable and conducting their reviews

Basic Qualifications

    • At least 6+ years of relevant experience in Digital-related Marketing and/or related fields within the healthcare industry
    • A bachelor's degree in a related field

Preferred Qualifications

    • Willingness to work in a fast-paced agency environment managing multiple projects at once while keeping teams on track with timeline development and management
    • Familiarity with healthcare industry trends/regulations as it pertains to digital projects
    • Strong grasp of all basic social media and digital marketing channels and tools including platform specific nuances and requirements and platform updates
    • Experience in managing client and vendor communications and relationships and executing campaigns on both a small and large scale with results to prove it
    • Build relationships with clients and colleague at all levels and across teams
    • Willingness to collaborate across internal, external and client-side resources
    • Comfort with managing-up and navigating complex internal and external relationships
    • Experience with paid social, email marketing, marketing automation tools, and/or SEO
    • Previous agency experience required
    • Passion for and curiosity in healthcare
    • Proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous learning through various training and new project opportunities
    • Expert in latest digital content formats and best practices to translate content strategies effectively within the digital ecosystem
    • Ability to work on multiple projects/clients at once, often in different industries with different digital needs
    • Willingness to take a hands-on and enthusiastic approach to solving problems
    • Excellent communication & presentation skills

$86,000 - $125,000 a year

An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
