Facility Administrator (Finance)



Job Scope: Reporting to the B&O Corporate Controller, the Facilities Administrator is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and management of Linde's Sierra Pines Office. They will ensure that the facility is clean, safe, and functional for employees and visitors. The Facilities Administrator manages the daily operations of the building and coordinates with vendors and contractors for repairs and maintenance. Qualified candidates will be competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision. They will be self-motivated and trustworthy. The position will be located at the Sierra Pines Office, The Woodlands, Texas. Principal Responsibilities: - Oversee maintenance and repairs of the facility, ensuring it is clean, safe, and functional for employees and visitors. - Manage budgets and ensure financial efficiency by forecasting expenses and monitoring expenditures. - Implement and oversee a comprehensive facility management system, including a preventative maintenance schedule to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of facility assets. - Coordinate with IT department to ensure all technological infrastructure within the facility is functioning optimally and meets the organization's operational requirements. - Plan and execute facility renovations, expansions, or upgrades, overseeing all stages from design and permitting to construction and final inspection. - Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and codes related to building operations, safety, and environmental standards. - Coordinate community service and building events, including organizing volunteer opportunities for employees, partnering with local charities and non-profits, and promoting participation in community outreach programs. - Manage the monthly event calendar for the Sierra Pines building, ensuring a variety of activities that engage employees and foster a sense of community. - Provide backup support for other office administrators and the receptionist, as necessary. Critical Competencies: - Personal & Interpersonal - Advanced - Organizational Understanding - Advanced - Customer Service - Advanced - Strategic Skills - Intermediate - Operating Skills - Intermediate - Energy & Drive - Intermediate - Courage - Intermediate Qualifications: - Proven working experience as a corporate office administrator, office assistant, or relevant role (2+ years) in a location with more than 100 employees. - Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities. - High energy, confidence, and professionalism with enthusiasm for customer service. - Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise. - Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure. - Ability to act with high integrity and trust. - Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint. - High school diploma required.
