Summary
As an Activities Director at Beckett House Healthcare & Rehabilitation, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents through engaging activities and therapeutic recreation. This position is essential in creating a vibrant community atmosphere where residents feel valued and connected.
This position comes with a starting pay rate of $20 an hour.
The typical schedule for this opportunity is 8:30am to 5:00pm 5 days per week and MAY include working every other weekend depending on the department's overall staffing. Start and end times are flexible based on community need. This position is a part of the community management team and will take part in the manager on duty weekend coverage rotation.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement engaging activity programs tailored to the needs of residents.Coordinate recreational therapy sessions that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being.Collaborate with staff to ensure activities are inclusive and accessible for all residents.Assess individual resident interests and preferences to personalize activity plans.Facilitate group activities that encourage social interaction and community building.Maintain records of participation and evaluate the effectiveness of programs.Communicate regularly with families regarding resident participation and progress.
