Geotechnical Engineer (Finance)



Job Description

Kleinfelder's Oklahoma City, Oklahoma office is looking for an Entry Level Geotechnical Engineer to join our engineering team with experience, skills and interest in developing their career .

We are looking for someone experienced in:

  • Geotechnical field investigations
  • Soil and rock classification/boring logs
  • Pavement design
  • Foundation engineering and analysis
  • Report preparation

The ideal candidate will have 0 to 5 years' experience and:

  • Positive work attitude and ability to work safely and efficiently when managing multiple tasks
  • Ability to work independently or with a team in a multi-disciplinary environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, Including Word, Excel, and Power Point preferred
  • An ability to communicate clearly and effectively with peers, supervisors, clients, subcontractors and regulators

Education:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • M.S. in Civil Engineering (geotechnical emphasis preferred)
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering

Additional:
  • EIT is preferred (or the ability to obtain within 3 to 6 months)
  • Be able to obtain PE license within 4 years of hiring
  • Some construction material testing and inspection related experience are also preferred
