Building Automation Service Sales Representative

Qualifications

  • Have a solid understanding of building management systems, including HVAC, lighting, and energy management systems
  • Able to articulate the benefits of Building Automation services in terms of energy efficiency, cost savings, and overall building performance
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for effectively conveying the value proposition of Building Automation services to clients
  • The ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, including technical experts and project managers, for delivering comprehensive and effective Building Automation service solutions
  • Must reside in the Bay Area/Northern California
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • Must have 2+ years of industry experience
  • Must have 2+ years of service sales experience

  • For this U.S. based position, the expected base range is 75,532 -113,298-- per year, and a commission plan
  • The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States
  • Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training

Responsibilities
  • Driving sales of Building Automation repairs and maintenance contracts by leveraging expertise in building automation and control systems.
  • Engaging with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and offer tailored Building Automation service solutions.
  • Identifying and pursuing sales opportunities for Building Automation services, understanding customer requirements, and presenting compelling service proposals.
  • Collaborating with technical teams to ensure that proposed Building Automation services align with customer needs and technical capabilities.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, providing excellent customer service.
  • Meeting activity metrics for calls, appointments scheduled, and generating sales opportunities.
  • Updating and maintaining records with the CRM (Salesforce).
