The Scheduling Coordinator at Stella-Jones is primarily responsible for coordinating the placement of manufacturing orders and maintaining production schedules across the Western Species Utility Pole network. The position also supports cross-functional collaboration, report compilation and analysis, and the execution of process improvement initiatives. These activities are carried out under the guidance of the Master Scheduler to enhance overall operational efficiency and effectiveness within the network.
This position is open due to an internal promotion and will be based onsite Monday through Friday at our Tacoma office.
Key Duties:
Manage production schedules for locations across the network.
Monitor late orders and other designated Success Indicators.
Compile, review, and act on production and inventory reports for the department and internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment on scheduling priorities.
Support and execute process improvement projects under the direction of the Master Scheduler.
Support in hosting meetings and presenting to large diverse audiences
Qualifications:
Two (2) or more years of work experience in Scheduling, Operations, or Supply Chain-related roles required
Experience working in ERP systems and producing production reports preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or additional advanced education a plus
Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) required
ERP platforms experience (such as SAP) highly preferred; Power BI a plus
Comfortable navigating through multiple systems and dashboards
Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively across departments and communicate clearly
Capable of managing stress, resolving conflicts, and adapting to changing priorities
Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines maintaining accuracy and efficiency
