Quality Assurance Specialist (Information Technology)



SUMMARY
This position is responsible for reviewing New Accounts, New IRA Accounts and coding, New Persons, Account Maintenances reports, and Minor changes for accuracy and verifying all necessary documentation and signatures were obtained.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Ensures all accounts including IRA's are accurately added in Core.
Review all time sensitive IRA tax documents and prepare for mailing
Responsible for calculating and setting up RMD distributions
Stays compliant with any new IRA regulations
Verifies all new customers are checked against OFAC and check systems.
Verifies all documents have been submitted for New Org, Person and Account.
Ensures customers are in the correct product.
Supports frontline staff with account opening and changes to accounts.
Verifies changes to rates have been approved by the Accounting Staff and adds the approval to Spreadsheet.
Maintains current knowledge of and adheres to the BSA Policy.
Backs up QA Staff with Maintenance reports and online Asset Verification, check stop payment review, closed CD's, POA submissions, Review date of death procedure and report inheritance tax as needed.
Assumes additional duties/responsibilities as required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and at least six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
