Pharmacy Implementation Coordinator - Client Configuration - Remote - Evernorth (Finance)

Role Summary:

The Pharmacy Implementation Coordinator is part of a team responsible for installing and maintaining the plan information that is used and accessed both internally within the Cigna organization and externally by clients, customers and appropriate parties.

The Pharmacy Implementation Coordinator will manage, review and provide oversight of account installation for Pharmacy new business and account renewals. The Implementation Coordinator will work with assigned resources to configure benefits for loading in the Pharmacy vendor system and review setup for the portfolio of assigned accounts. This role also includes issue resolution for the implementation and service of accounts for the National, Regional, and small account business segments. The Implementation Coordinator provides complete, accurate and timely responses to Pharmacy Implementation Managers and builds collaborative relationships with the aforementioned as well as various matrix partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Administers and manages the installation of assigned accounts
  • Reviews and completes the configuration, loading and updates of plans
  • Analyzes benefit requests and secures necessary data to ensure appropriate implementation and alignment with the pharmacy claim adjudication system
  • Identifies improvement opportunities and mitigates risk to ensure accurate account set up
  • Researches service issues and provides quick resolution to minimize customer impact
  • Responsible for requesting, analyzing and reporting pharmacy data
  • Ensures policies and procedures are documented appropriately
  • Mentors Implementation Set-up Representatives

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3+ Pharmacy experience required
  • 3+ years PBM and Healthcare implementation experience highly preferred
  • Demonstrated success and proficiency in organizational skills, written and verbal communication skills, inter-company project management, communication with senior management, and presentation skills required
  • Established organizational skills to analyze, recommend and improve workflows required
  • Knowledge of Healthcare plans and benefit structures required
  • Proficient understanding of Healthcare insurance rules and regulation (HIPAA, Healthcare Reform, etc.) required
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, document and maintain operational policies and procedures required
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a highly complex and matrix environment required

Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of Pharmacy systems and source documents inclusive but not limited to PCIT, and applicable ESI platform highly desired
  • Proficient knowledge of SharePoint, Microsoft Office, Project Management software and various software platforms

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 61,400 - 102,400 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
