Role:
The Janitor keeps the bank buildings clean and in an orderly condition.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Cleans and supplies designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning restrooms, etc.).
- Carries out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects.
- Notifies management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
- Makes adjustments and minor repairs.
- Stocks and maintains supply rooms.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Education and/or Experience.
- High School Degree or General Education Degree (GED).
Interpersonal Skills.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
- Integrity and ability to work independently.
- Ability to handle cleaning equipment.
- Willingness to work evening hours.
- Thorough and organized.

While performing this job the employee would occasionally be required to carry loads up to and including 50lbs. It is frequently necessary to bend, squat, reach above the shoulder level, crouch, kneel, balance and push/pull equipment. Firm grasping/fine manipulation with the right/left hand is necessary. It is occasionally necessary to climb up to 6 feet. In an 8 hour shift, the employee can expect to walk or stand about 8 hours.
