URDP Advanced Mfg Engineer I (Finance)

Honeywell is seeking a motivated Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) engineer to join our Ring-Laser Gyro (RLG) and Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) manufacturing engineering teams. As an Adv. Manufacturing Engineer, you will leverage your technical expertise to support the production of high-quality RLG and IMU products by working on process development, equipment specification, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will be involved in analyzing equipment layouts, workflow, and assembly methods to enhance manufacturing efficiency, while collaborating with engineering and operations teams to influence process planning and design. Your role will include determining necessary parts and tools to meet manufacturing goals and driving producibility improvement projects in a dynamic environment.

This position is in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States.

You must have:

• Must be currently pursuing a bachelor's degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Chemical, etc.), or similar field

• Must graduate from an accredited college or university between Aug 2024 and May 2025 and be available to begin full-time work beginning in the fall of 2025

• Must have obtained degree within 12 months of the date of hire

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles (Six Sigma experience is a plus)

• Cause identification/FMEA experience

• Confirmed experience with tools for the field (Mathcad / Matlab, Excel, Minitab, etc.)

• Validated academic excellence (3.0 GPA and higher)About Us
