Business Analyst II - Supply Chain (Finance)

Arthrex is actively seeking a Business Analyst II - Supply Chain to be responsible for analyzing and giving guidance on Arthrex's supply chain master data, projects, and current trends impacting global supply and demand planning. To be successful, this position will be aligned to global budgets, forecasts, product lifecycle management, and regulatory approval of our products. This will be done by working with the global demand planning, product launch, SNP, supply chain, regulatory and finance teams. The role will have an in depth understanding how operational metrics affect the financials in our white box/ P&L business and our heavy metal/ balance sheet business to ensure targets do not restrain the growth of Arthrex. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Translate business goals and objectives into strategic business capabilities.
  • Benchmark current and future processes against best industry practices.
  • Develop a roadmap of projects and initiatives for enablement of new capabilities.
  • Handle multiple project management activities at a pre-determined lead-time and prioritize and respond to special assigned projects.
  • Assist in creation of KSAs (Key System Attributes), KPPs (Key Performance Predictors), & KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for Supply Chain.
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of Global Operations Reporting.
  • Creation of reports, utilizing Power BI or equivalent, to support Supply Chain metrics.
  • Creation of ad hoc reporting requests of our internal partners.
  • Analyze and qualitatively review data and reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist in managing domestic and international product life cycle management.
  • Identify gaps, generate detailed business analysis and develop solutions for Supply Chain.
  • Participate in Kaizen events and workshops for process improvements for Supply Chain.
  • Develop and manage project plans while ensuring timely completion of deliverables and projects.
  • Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
  • Perform user acceptance testing for system process changes and reports.
  • Implement and update procedures and work instructions.
  • May assist with global SAP implantations and localized training.
  • Communicate insights and project plans to cross-functional team members and management.
  • Actively work on projects supporting the overall initiatives of the supply chain team.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business Management, Supply Chain, Computer Analytics or related field.
  • 2 years of analysis in S&OP, Supply Chain, demand or inventory experience required.
  • SAP experience strongly preferred.
  • Previous position in Medical Device industry preferred.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

Intermediate computer skills. Be able to follow written and verbal direction.

Knowledge of creation and interpretation of Busines Process Mapping.

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word, Excel and Vizio. Power-Bi, SAP-ERP software management. Excel Macros/Pivot tables/VLookups strongly preferred.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements.

Language and Communication Skills:

Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above. Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management. Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
