Festival Public Area Attendant (Temporary) (Personal Services)



SUMMARY
Responsible for upholding a high standard of cleanliness throughout the resort's public areas while serving as a Targhee ambassador. This role includes engaging with guests in a friendly and helpful manner, ensuring a welcoming environment. Key duties include cleaning and restocking designated public spaces such as restrooms, the plaza, and the pool area. The working hours for this position are 2pm-11pm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Clean and sanitize public areas using established practice and procedure.
2. Removing outdoor trash, and recyclables.
3. Supports resort and department specific sustainability efforts.
4. Ensure that all Public Restrooms are clean and stocked.
5. Monitor venue garbage stations and ensure that guests put trash/recycling in the proper bins.
6. Transporting garbage and recycling to proper dumpsters.

RESPONSIBILITIES TO SAFETY
1. Protect the safety of self, co-workers, and resort guests.
2. Report any potentially harmful equipment or situations to the immediate supervisor without delay.
3. Report safety-related accidents and incidents at once to immediate supervisor.
4. Follow all company and department safety policies and procedures.
5. Operate equipment in a safe manner that will not lead to injury to yourself or others.
6. Drive in accordance with the law and resort policies.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Previous experience in guest service and hospitality desired, cleaning experience is preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before internal and external guests.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate measurements, amounts such as amount of cleaning solution to use, proportions, percentages, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
