What You'll Do:

Overview:

The Loan Servicing Specialist is responsible for the payment of taxes, hazard/flood insurance premiums and mortgage insurance premiums.  Additionally, this employee will process insurance loss draft files, mortgage insurance cancellations/terminations, escrow account cancellations and borrower escrow analysis inquiries, complaints and assistance box.

  • Answer and address inbound escrow calls and HEAT tickets from borrowers in a professional manner. Provide quality customer service to all borrowers. Document borrower interactions and capture updated loan information within the core system. Process complaints and assist with the Assistance mailbox.

  • Process tax and insurance payments, utilizing third party vendor services

  • Process insurance loss draft files

  • Process mortgage insurance cancellations/terminations, adhering to CFPB and investor guidelines

  • Process escrow cancellations requests, adhering to investor guidelines

  • Assist the department supervisor and team lead with the annual review of escrow analysis statement and other departmental projects as required.

  • Adhere to strict timelines and provide attention to detail.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years' experience working in an escrow administration environment

  • High School Diploma

  • Excellent customer service skills required.

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Experience working with 3rd party tax and insurance vendors preferred

  • FIS IBS system experience a plus

  • Advanced Computer Skills

Compensation:

The estimated annual rate for this role is $42,000-$55,000, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual pay rate may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills and experience.
