Front of House Manager (Finance)



Department: Cullen Performance Hall Salary: $49,400 - $56,200
Description:

Responsible for managing the daily operations of the Performance Hall ticket office including distribution and sale of tickets and Front of House event management and execution for all Cullen Performance Hall productions.

1. Manages the ordering, sale, and accounting for all tickets sold for Cullen Performance Hall events including internal distribution of all ticket related collateral materials, correspondence to ticket holders, sale of tickets, assignment of seats and proper distribution of ticket orders.

2. Manages and leads the marketing and outreach programs for the venue in support of all events, provides marketing and communication support to event promoters/organizers, and maintains social media platforms for the venue.

3.Generates and reconciles comprehensive ticketing reports for each event, verifying sales figures, attendance, and revenue across multiple platforms.

4. Accurately prepares, reconciles, and processes daily deposits for all received payments, ensuring compliance with financial policies and timely reporting.

5. Oversees and maintains precise financial and ticketing records for all Cullen Performance Hall events, ensuring consistency between sales data, deposits, and reports.

6. Manages front of house operations for all events to ensure successful execution of event logistics, including but not limited to lobby set-up, merchandise set-up, settlement, ushers, support staff coordination, supervision, scheduling box office staff, and coordination of concession services.

7. Works closely with internal and external customers on a daily basis to provide customer service assistance and ticket sales status information.

8. Manages complaints, ticket problems, and customer service issues in a fair, professional, and courteous manner.

9. Manages the regular updates of calendars, electronic messages and other ticket office information equipment with event information, sales dates, prices and times on venue websites, ticketing site, and approved marketing platforms.

10. Oversees the front of house and ticketing equipment preventative maintenance and repairs.

11. Oversees the hiring, training, staffing and supervision of student workers.

12. Performs other duties as assigned.

MQ: Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed.

Requires a minimum of one (1) year of directly job-related experience.
