Senior Analyst, Software Engineering | Developer I (XW) (Finance)

  • Own the development and delivery of the product with minimal guidance.
  • Make minor contributions during the feature exploratory process.
  • Write quality tests that support the given tasks.
  • Work with the team to identify, define, and size user stories and tasks.
  • Develop high-quality software using industry and team best practices.
  • Identify and implement unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
  • Collaborate with other developers through pair and mob programming.
  • Participate as part of the user testing process learning and gaining feedback from users.
  • Communicate technical needs to the rest of the team so that refactoring, technology changes, and technical debt are tracked and accounted for in estimates.
  • Constantly strive to gain industry knowledge and develop a mindset of continuous improvement.
  • Perform manual quality assurance as needed.
  • Complete all responsibilities as outlined.
  • Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science (or related field), or comparable work experience.
  • Good JavaScript, HTML, and CSS skills.
  • Familiar with Angular, AngularJS, React, Ember.js or another JavaScript front-end framework.
  • Experience with Git or another version control system.
  • Familiarity with TypeScript, Sass, C#, and ASP.NET Core a plus.
  • Able to write clean, maintainable code.
  • Able to communicate effectively and professionally with others.

  • Working Conditions:
  • Frequent interaction with Development Team Lead.
  • General office working conditions and environment.
  • Occasional exceptional hours as needed to meet deadlines.
