HOMELAND CENTER
Maintenance Technician (Maintenance)
Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair.
Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs.
Performs routine maintenance on building systems.
Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Proficiency in repair and understanding of basic trades (e.g. plumbing, electrical, HVAC)
Must be able to complete a basic knowledge and proficiency test prior to hiring offer.
Basic knowledge of fire alarm and sprinkler systems.
Basic knowledge of generator usage.
Sound knowledge of hydronic heating systems.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and standards.
Ability to follow instructions.
Knowledge of general carpentry and repair.
Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Basic computer skills required.
Education, Experience, and Licenses:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Prior experience in a long-term health care setting preferred.
Experience with small engine repair and maintenance.
Valid Pennsylvania Drivers' License
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods standing and walking.
Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
