The Administrator I provides leadership, management, and operational oversight for program services to ensure high-quality care, customer satisfaction, and compliance with applicable State and Federal regulations. This role is responsible for staff supervision, program development, regulatory compliance, budgeting, and maintaining a safe, healthy environment for clients/residents and staff. The Administrator collaborates with leadership, external stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to align program operations with the organizations mission, values, and strategic goals.

How will I contribute
Provide overall leadership and management of program operations to ensure services meet client/resident needs and organizational standards.Supervise, train, and evaluate program staff; oversee recruitment, hiring, disciplinary actions, and terminations in coordination with Human Resources and Executive Leadership.Foster clear communication, teamwork, and alignment of staff roles, expectations, and organizational updates.Ensure program compliance with all relevant State and Federal regulations, including but not limited to Title 17 and Title 22, OSHA standards, and licensing requirements.Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient environment, enforcing safety protocols and managing emergency preparedness and response.Oversee client/resident admissions, attendance, and care plans; provide direct care and support when needed to maintain quality standards.Manage staff scheduling, timekeeping systems, and accurate payroll submission to ensure adequate coverage and compliance.Collaborate on budget development, monitor expenditures, and support financial productivity goals.Participate in leadership meetings, strategic planning, quality assurance, and program improvement initiatives.Serve as liaison with families, healthcare providers, community partners, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to facilitate communication and support.Review and maintain required documentation, including medication administration records, incident reports, daily logs, and licensing forms.Conduct regular walkthroughs and direct observations to assess client/resident well-being and staff performance.Address and resolve operational, client/resident care, and staff issues promptly and effectively.Support outreach, marketing efforts, and tours to prospective clients/residents and referral sources as appropriate.Maintain ongoing education and certifications necessary for program administration and compliance.Perform other duties as assigned by Executive Leadership to support program success and organizational goals.

What I bring
Class C Driver's License
CPR, First Aid Certification, RCFE Administrator Certificate (as applicable)

5 years direct related work experience; On-the-job training is a consideration. Must possess a valid RCFE (Residential Care Facility for the Elderly) Administrators License. According to Title 22 Regulation 80064, must be at least 18 years of age. Must also possess valid adult first aid, and Adult CPR certifications, and have the ability to perform emergency first aid as needed. Must have a Department of Justice criminal clearance (fingerprint screening) and be able to maintain and complete the required hours of continuing education each year to maintain certifications and meet the requirements of Title 17 and 22 as applicable.
Thorough understanding of Community Care Licensing: Title 22 and Department of Developmental Services: Title 17. Knowledge of emergency health and safety compliance protocols and regulations as set forth by public health authorities. Must be knowledgeable of the requirements for providing care and supervision to adult residents. Must possess skills and knowledge of principles of nutrition, food preparation and storage, and menu planning, housekeeping and sanitation principles, provision of client care and supervision, including communication, assistance with prescribed medications which are self-administered, recognition of early signs of illness and the need for professional assistance, and availability of community services and resources (Title 22 Code 80065[f][1])Proof of good physical health may be verified by a health screening, including a test for tuberculosis, performed by or under the supervision of a physician not more than one year prior to or seven days after employment. Ability to demonstrate appropriate written, verbal and inter-personal communication skills Communicate clearly and promptly in writing and speech. Follow and convey written and verbal instructions effectively. Present information in a clear, accurate, and understandable manner. Listen actively, ask clarifying questions, and respond appropriately. Produce accurate written work on time and in a usable format.Demonstrates the physical and mental resilience necessary to work with clients who may be potentially dangerous to themselves or others, in line with the Companys Physical and Mental Fitness standards. Capable of passing health screening examinations, including physical, drug, and TB tests. Meets all state personnel licensing requirements. Willingness to work in a culturally integrated workplace and respect for diversity, including differences in race, age, disability, religion, sexual orientation, political beliefs, place of origin, skin color, and other distinguishing characteristics. Commitment to providing high-quality care and support in a culturally diverse environment.High school diploma or GED equivalency is preferred. College degree desired. Care and supervision of clients in a licensed adult day program, or an adult day health care facility, or residential care. Supervision of direct support professionals.
