Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the engineering strategy in alignment with company goals and customer needs.- Champion innovation in vending technology, including IoT integration, cashless systems, and energy efficiency.- Collaborate with executive leadership to align engineering initiatives with business objectives.
Team Development & Culture
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team across mechanical, electrical, and software disciplines.- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and cross-functional collaboration.- Promote Wittern's Core Values in all aspects of leadership and team engagement.
Product Development & Innovation
- Oversee the full product lifecycle from concept through production, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and manufacturability.- Drive R&D efforts to explore new technologies and materials that enhance product performance and customer value.- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and sustainability goals.
Operational Excellence
- Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams to optimize design for manufacturability (DFM) and reduce time-to-market.- Implement engineering best practices, including design reviews, risk assessments, and root cause analysis.- Manage engineering budgets, timelines, and resource allocation effectively.
