Associate Account Representative, Post Acute (Healthcare)

Who We're Looking For:

The Associate Account Representative (AAR) is part of the Post-Acute Operations Member Experience Team, which is an essential component of the MHA Post-Acute Pharmacy Division. The AAR's responsibilities include providing administrative support and key data points to MHA Pharmacies. They analyze automated monthly reports, offer insights into purchasing trends, assess contract eligibility, and pinpoint anomalies for the Account Executive (AE-Member Engagement Team) to present during Member Business Reviews with members. Additionally, they identify and track data inconsistencies through the audit process and effectively communicate issues to the AE while collaborating to ensure contract compliance and full contract utilization with the objective of driving revenue. The AAR acts as a liaison between MHA Post-Acute Members, MHA's Ops Support Services, and Network Admin Services, ensuring a high level of customer service to MHA's Member Base.

What You'll Be Doing:

Support to Member Engagement Team:

  • Assist the Account Executive (AE) Member Engagement Team in achieving MHA's strategic financial and business objectives by conducting thorough reviews, interpreting data accurately, and conveying insights to both the AE and Post-Acute members.
  • Provide administrative support to MHA Account Executives, ensuring efficient operations and communication.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to integrate new Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) and Long-Term Care Network Pharmacies into the MHA framework.
  • Assist the AE Member Engagement Team in meeting MHA's budgetary and business goals.

Member Communication & Support:

  • Maintain consistent communication with MHA Members through regular phone and email contact to ensure ongoing support and engagement.
  • Provide direct support to members when needed, addressing their inquiries and concerns effectively.
  • Serve as a liaison between MHA Member Pharmacies and internal support teams, including IT, Data and Reconciliation, Membership, and Contracts.

Data Management & Account Oversight:

  • Track and maintain accurate member information, ensuring that all data is up-to-date and precise.
  • Implement approved strategies for effective account management, following established procedures to manage member relationships.
  • Regularly update and document interactions in MHA's CRM, Salesforce, ensuring that information remains current and synchronized with the activities of Account Executives.

Training & Education for Members:

  • Work closely with the Post Acute member base to provide training on the MHA Portal, ensuring members are well-equipped to use the platform and encouraging continued learning as new updates and features are introduced.
  • Ensure ongoing member education as new phases of the MHA Portal are implemented, fostering adaptation and engagement throughout the process.

 What You'll Bring to the Table:

  • 2-4 Year College Degree; Preferred but not required
  • Strong MS Office applications skills including Excel (pivot tables, vlookup), Word, and Outlook
  • Self-motivator attitude with a proactive desire to dissect and analyze the current needs of the client and help anticipate their future needs
  • High-degree of attention to detail – carefully performs all tasks with minimal mistakes in a timely manner; validates own work for completeness and accuracy
  • Excellent organization and time management skills with ability to prioritize work and to function independently
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
  • Professional demeanor in performing job responsibilities and when interacting with others
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication as well as effective listening skills
  • Experience in Salesforce is a plus

    • Minimum travel (There is a potential for once-a-year travel with their Regional Team to visit clients or attend a conference.
