Shuttle Van Driver (Transportation)



The Shuttle Driver is responsible for assisting guests and members with their immediate needs. This may include, but not limited to, giving information on the facility, products and services, assisting with transportation of gear and persons to and from resort locations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Developing and maintaining effective and friendly working relationships with staff, members, guests and dealing with conflict effectively, courteously, and tactfullyResponding to member questions and needs via radio, phone and in personProviding excellent customer serviceDealing with conflict effectively, courteously, and tactfullyMaintaining a clean and organized shuttle vanMonitor needed maintenanceProvide information on marina products and servicesAvailable to work every weekend including open to close on SundaysOther duties as assigned by Manager
Safety and Environmental Responsibilities
Follow SHM Safety and Environmental rules and complete required related trainingWear proper personal protective equipment as required for the task or work areaReport all accidents, injuries, spills and near misses immediately
Technical and Physical Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferredPrior marina experience preferredPrevious customer service experience preferredMust possess valid driver's license and have a clean driving recordAbility to sit for long periods of timeAbility to lift 10 pounds
